BEST MORNING SHOW OF ALL TIME ON A HIPHOP/RHYTHMIC STATION WAS

THE Morning Zoo on KMEL.
in the late 90s I used to listen to them every morning around 98-99 maybe 2000 until it was canned for syndication.
I felt they coulda and shoulda been syndicated themselves. Love to hear some airchecks if someone ever has any!
"Do your Zoo" 106KMEL

Side note: My favorite "bit" of all time on a morning show was on Doug Bank's Morning Show DeDe McGuire's "can a jigga..." had me rollin each day on the way home from work!

Actually, it wasn't canned for syndication at all. Chuy Gomez took over mornings on KMEL.

My vote is the Baka Boyz. I never listen to them on KKBT and KPWR in the 90's but I had a chance to listen online to XHMORE FM in San Dieago when they did mornings there for a while.

They were quite popular on KPWR & KKBT. The Baka Boyz also paved the way for Big Boy.
