Best station for sports games (Counting Atlantic City, Allentown, and Harrisburg

Which station is the best for sports games? (Counting Atlantic City, Allentown, and Harrisburg)

Football- WYSP-FM. It has been the home of the Eagles since '92 and you can hear the crowd like you are in the stadium.

Baseball- WPEN-FM. While listening to Phillies playoff games on 97.5, it was so cool to hear the crowd at Citizens Bank Park in Hi-Fi sound.
Honorable Mention: WMID-AM, it has the best sound of any AM station for a sporting event. The echo, and volume of the crowd can't be beat on the AM dial.

Hockey- WPHT-AM. When listening to Flyers games on 1210, I like how you can really hear the puck on the ice and the pushing and shoving. I prefer WPHT for a hockey game over WIP any day.

Basketball- All sound the same.

Just don't listen to WYSP at an Eagles game, thanks to the IBOC and/or profanity delay.

I think I'd stick to Phillies on WPHT if I get to keep the broadcast team I like. While I do like hearing the crowd noise, I don't need it in crystal clear stereo. Especially if I can't have LA and Franzke. While not Harry And Richie, I'd prefer them over anyone else.

If you're at the game, listen on WIP. If you want crowd noise, take your headphones off. :)

I've taken to watching baseball on TV but using the radio announcers. I use the internet to grab the feed, as it's cleaner than AM sound. (Yes, I pay for the feeds. It's included in my MLB.tv subscription, which I use because I am an exiled Met fan living in Philly.)

I sync the TV and radio by hitting pause on my TiVo until the radio feed catches up to the TV feed. Then I unplug the center channel speaker in my surround sound setup, so I have surround sound from the TV feed and commentary from the radio station.

I do the same thing for football, but for Eagles games I use the actual radio, and I find the sound good enough from just WYSP that I don't bother with using the TV feed for surround sound.
