BET puts the Hip-Hop and Soul Train Awards on ice

I’m surprised they aren’t simulcasting (at least the Soul Train Awards) on CBS as they are doing with the MTV VMA show.
 
It doesn't matter if anyone is watching as long as there are sponcers buying ads at a greater amount than the expensive of programming the channel. Postive cash flow is a good thing. Kinda like golf on the OTA networks.
