Big Band Years and Best of 50's Pop

Channel 12 featured The Big Band Years and Best of 50's Pop as part of their fund drive yesterday. There is one radio station in the Philadelphia area that features this music 52 weeks a year. That station is WRDV-FM and WLBS-FM (89.3-107.3-97.1-91.7) There are people out there that still enjoy this music. It would be interesting to know how much money Channel 12 took in during this programming.

We all know this brand of music is still popular today, even with WHAT's poor signal they are still managing to attract listeners with their type of music, it would be nice for WHAT to get on one of the area stations HD-2.

Not to be contrary, or off subject, but worth a mention. My last visit to PA, I wanted to listen to the Phils in the car on the way back to the shore. Punching up AM, the radio came to preset 1340 WMID. I was in Trooper/Valley Forge. WHAT was clean and static free, except for the underpass braches from Rt. 422 East to 76/202. I never remember it being that strong in that area.
