Bill King: Baseball Hall of Fame Effort Underway

Mychael Urban writes on MLB.com about the push underway to get Bill King elected into the broadcasters' wing of baseball's Hall of Fame, an honor that he not only deserves, but is also way overdue:

Beware: the late, great Skip Caray is also on the ballot, and may get a lot of national attention (deservedly so) for his outstanding work on Atlanta Braves radio and television. That may make it difficult, once again, for Bill King to get the attention due him.

There are quite a few other names on the ballot that stand out, starting with Joe Castiglione, Connie Desmond, Jerry Doggett and Dick Enberg; it sounds to me like they need to start letting two or three guys in each year instead of one.

I urge you to vote for Bill King (and two other deserving candidates) at:

I agree that Bill should be in the baseball HOF. Personally, I think he was at his best doing football and basketball. He deserves entry into those HOF's as well.
