There is no Ernie Boch III, but a blogger felt he could "come on down" and convince advertisers they should
not advertise on WRKO due to Howie Carr's show. The real Ernie says he loves Howie and when the Bochs
owned their Cape stations they were "the first to syndicate him"

I've always used my real name on all websites; I think it's fine if someone wants to use a pseudonym, but it's NEVER defensible to use a fake name that could easily be confused with a real person. I happen to know one of the founders of Blue Mass Group, and the next time I see him, I'll pass along this observation. (He's a LAWYER so he should know better.)

EBJ has more money than effn God, and will not hesitate to send a bunch of lawyers into court to get an order for BMG to disclose the information to ID the fake Boch, including the ISP info from the hosting servers.

EBJ will not take kindly to this trust me.

btw my real name is Bob Nelson though most people may know that and I am not the "call letters meanings" guy
nor am I blues performer Chicago Bob Nelson nor am I the comedian Bob Nelson, seen on Dangerfield specials,
etc. (I saw him once at the Paradise. Lost the ticket over the years but it said PARADISE PRESENTS--BOB NELSON--Must Be 21) :)

It's amazing how much he openly posts hatred towards his employer, Entercom.
I can only imagine how annoyed Wolfie gets in the quiet of his office.

Howie really wanted to go to Greater Media a couple years back and we remember how that got shot down. OK,
so Entercom matched the contract, etc. and his salary complete with the incentives if he got certain ratings (he did finish #1 a few periods back) got matched, etc but Howie has mentioned on air so many times that he can't
wait till his sentence ends...he says "Entercom happens" and complains about equipment not working etc (calls
them Zombie Radio, jokes that while his ratings went up he got the crappy studio while the "jocksniffers" down the hall got the better one, and theirs had gone down... Am sure Wolfie and company may be annoyed by all this a bit but he gets them ratings and billing. I'm not sure come 2012 whether his contract AGAIN gets renewed automatically
or if he can fly the coop then (maybe so). Is WTKK still talk by then? Is it worth going to them? Will the same
people who gave him the job offer in '07 do the same? (I think at least one bigwig is gone.)

Again, Entercom can endure the slings and arrows as long as Howie gets the ratings.
He probably isn't fond of Wolfe, Kahn (and Finneran!) etc but has made it clear on air he'd like to flee. (Perhaps even
to do a show from Florida a la Rush so he won't get taxed as much.)

Ernie Boch Jr is on Howie's show right now saying that for awhile someone has been calling himself Ernie Boch III
and he says he was getting a call from someone, Bob Sheridan wondering "why are you writing this?" EBJ:
"It's not me."

Greg (Hill) had asked him: "Ernie is that you?"
Boch: "I said, It's not me....I've always had a good relationship with you" (his dad syndicated Howie on WXTK)

Boch says that fake Ernie "works at the State House", they think...

George Regan said to EBJ "we should get a private investigator to find out who this guy is"
EBJ: "I am offering $2,000 to someone who can find this guy..."

it is amazing how the two sides to this story are so different. The eb III supporters are defending the 1st amendment, blogging using a pen name (i blog under a pen name), and feel like they are winning the fight.

Carr/EB Jr. supporters point to the confusion that EB III has sown by using an iteration of the name of a very prominent media figure in the town where he blogs. Also, Carr sarcastically supports the boycott as he claims that he is stuck plying his craft at a dying AM.

Meanwhile Carbone Insurance pulls its ads for "business reasons."

Hmmm, that's strange because EBJ was live on the air with me on Fri (10/2) from 3:05pm-3:30pm. We were doing an interview promoting his upcoming appearance at the Topsfield Fair on Sat 10/3. The only way it could have been the REAL EBJ was if the conversation was pre-recorded.

He may have been on during the 4 pm hour and this messageboard time stamped it as the 3 pm hour. I am typing this at 5:13 AM...ah OK, just checked and when I posted this now (am modifying it) it says "4:13 AM"

And I posted the same thing at Free Republic, whose time stamp is more accurate--and note what it says

So he was on during the 4pm hour (and I remember him being on during that hour) but this board's time stamp is off by an hour.
