Guys its a radio message board go to the Mac website for blogs on i-phones! or forget your damn cell phone altogether. Radio is what makes the world go round, that and coffee! MMMMMM Coffee, but better make it coffee with Baileys!!! MMMMMMM Baileys. No wonder I was able to work for Clear Channel so long I had Baileys every morning, I was drunk off my rocker LOL! And I have so many happy memories of that place, the liquor store I mean.

See I'm old school radio where a doobie got you through the morning - none of that Bailey's or - later - latte stuff.

BTW:
The price of an iPhone according to google: http://www.google.com/products/cata..._catalog_result&resnum=5&ct=result#ps-sellers

All this over the "price of an iPhone." Stupid, isn't it?
Can we get back to talking about radio now?

Those prices are for the first generation iPhone that is not 3G enabled. You see, that phone is no longer made but is the only one that can be unlocked in software and, with the right SIM, used in many places where the iPhone is not available (foreign, I mean...) and on different carriers in the US.

I bought a new 3G iPhone for $299 with the extra memory (the lesser is $199) and sold my two old ones (olde meaning nearly a year old) for about $400 each to a company that buys them up to resell who knows where.

The standard 3G iPhones introduced in July are $199 and $299, depending on the memory. Of course, the memory is mostly for the iPod that is built in or for the new 3rd party applications, and not needed for the phone itself. So the base price of the iPhone is $199.

If you are in Bulgaria, you have to pay the going price for one of the discontinued models if you want to look hip.

That's unbelievably cowardly.

Easily written from west Texas. I didn't need a three page explanation in a private post.

Your facts were wrong, Garrett. You took a long time to admit it. There have been over three million of the phones sold in the U.S., so it's for the mass market. Clear Channel has an application for the iPhone -- it's free -- to listen to KFI and other CCU stations.

I am impressed that you can read upside down. Regarding facts, you should know that when you spout off, have the facts, nothing but the facts. You might want to correct your TV post about XHDTV and XETV being sister stations. They are not and have not been for some time.

Regardless, best wishes and keep posting ... just check your facts prior writing ......
