>>The New England Revolution and CBS RADIO Boston today announced a multiple-year agreement that makes “98.5 The Sports Hub” (WBZ-FM) the new home for the Revolution on the radio dial. Beginning on Saturday, March 27, when the Revolution travel to face the LA Galaxy, “98.5 The Sports Hub” will broadcast all 30 of the team’s regular-season matches.

No more pre-emption of Savage or Mikey so they can say how someone scored a goaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal.
Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooal

this is a good score especially with the world cup this year , and i believe all weei did was preempt it and have it on late at night and the am static trying to listen to it sucked anyhow!!!!

Do they really think that soccer will help their ratings? I got the impression that 'EEI had it just to suck up to the Krafts. I can't imagine listening to a soccer game.....of course I can't imagine watching one either.

Wasn't it a rumor or maybe even a fact that the only reason WEEI carried the Revolution was so they could have the "Patriots Monday/Friday" exclusive Patriots players/coach interviews? I wonder if this means they'll be losing those this coming year as well.

you can listen to a broadcast of grass growing with the right announcer.

I actually listen to that network on XM during the majors and Ryder Cup if I happen to be in my car during play. They really paint a great picture of what's going on on the course and, yes, a long putt or brilliant approach shot will get their announcers excited.

I hear there are people who listen to NASCAR.

I caught Neumie for a few min's on 98.5 this morning. I don't know how his friends at 'EEI will take that, but being a free agent maybe nobody will care?
