Bob & Tom Back In Springfield As "Boss" Takes Charge Of 96.7 FM

Not only has WCVS (96.7 FM) switched to a classic rock format, they're bringing back "Bob & Tom," whom the station dumped in 2008 in flipping to the active rock format that they've now dropped:

The station's GM states that removing the syndicated "Bob & Tom" had "generated more complaints than any other change at a station" in his twenty years of work.

96.7 FM, which now calls itself "The Boss," had stunted with Bruce Springsteen songs for a week leading up to the current classic rock format.

its amazing to me how popular bob and tom are.

i am from their home base city.indianapolis.i listened to them a lot when they came on at first and for many years.they had a good funny show.they are so dull now.

The station I used to work for WBZG FM 100.9 in La Salle/Peru just dropped them as of this week. The part that annoyed me the most about them is they laughed at their own jokes. I did enjoy their interviews though.
