Bobbi Kristina Brown, Daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, Dead at 22

Bobbi Kristina “Krissy” Brown, daughter of the late legendary singer Whitney Houston and R&B musician Bobby Brown, died Sunday at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Ga. She was 22.

“She is finally at peace in the arms of God,” the Houston family said in statement to “Entertainment Tonight.” “We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

The celebrity offspring’s death followed months of medical treatment after she was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub at her Roswell, Georgia, home on Jan. 31.

Bobbi Kristina was rushed to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, placed in a medically induced coma and connected to a ventilator. She was later transferred to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and spent her final days at a rehabilitation center before being moved to hospice care.

In an April interview, her grandmother Cissy Houston revealed that the 22-year-old had suffered “global and irreversible brain damage” and there was little chance of recovery.

Bobbi Kristina was Whitney and Bobby’s only child. Her death was especially chilling given that Whitney was found dead of a drug overdose in a bathtub at a Los Angeles hotel on Feb. 11, 2012, during Grammy Awards weekend.
