Boise's J-105 Gets "Jacked" Up, Now "Variety Rock 105.1"

After nearly a quarter-century of playing bands like The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, the legendary J-105 was replaced with "Variety Rock 105.1 FM," whose library is nearly four times as large as J-105's. Promising "always another great rock song," the Stones and Led Zeppelin will now be joined by bands such as Coldplay and Staind on the new station's playlist.

KXLT/107.9 also hit the "Santa" button not too long ago. Nothing in Seattle or Portland yet, but of course the first X-Mas station this year KYXE 104.9 is in Yakima.
