“The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Maya Avant is a man, baby — and the revelation has thrown social media into quite the tizzy.

Wednesday’s (3/18) cliffhanger episode on the CBS soap sent jaws dropping across the Twitterverse, after it was revealed that Maya (played by Karla Mosley) is actually named Myron.

As reported by We Love Soaps, the big reveal came when Maya had a faceoff with her sister Nicole (portrayed by Reign Edwards).

“You’re not my sister, Maya. You’re not Maya at all,” Nicole informed her sibling. “You’re Myron, my brother.”
