Bonnie Hunt To Return From Obscurity With Talk Show On NBC O&O's

http://ca.today.reuters.com/news/ne...831164_RTRIDST_0_ENTERTAINMENT-BONNIE-COL.XML

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Bonnie Hunt is developing a syndicated TV talk show for fall 2008.

The show has already been cleared on all of the NBC owned-and-operated stations except WCAU Philadelphia.

The show's syndicator, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution did not divulge details about where the show will be shot or the terms of the deal, but sources said it could originate from Los Angeles or Hunt's hometown of Chicago...

Who did she sleep with to get this deal?

I give it three months.

Can you say... Megan Mullally?

"I give it three months. Can you say... Megan Mullally?"

Though I wouldn't venture a prediction on how long her show will last, I wouldn't necessarily compare Hunt with Mullally. I've seen Bonnie Hunt on talk shows (Letterman, etc.) - she's witty, articulate, and amusing.

I totally agree. She's got quite a quick and very sharp wit. She was excellent when she guest hosted for Letterman.

I wish Bonnie good luck but I never thought she was that funny. Can't say I watched any of her TV shows. The appearance I watched were okay but nothing that set her apart from anyone else.

The industry has been forcing this woman on us for years..wonder how her "gosh I'm so clever" smugness will play in the talk show universe?..Oh well, I never understood what the attraction was with "Oprah" and "Ellen" either..

Who the hell is Bonnie Hunt ??? and does television really need another talk show? Hardly!

She starred in the movies Cheaper by the Dozen and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. She had a short lived sitcom on ABC a few years ago Life With Bonnie. She played Charles Grodin's wife in the movies Beethoven and Beethoven's 2nd.

And more: http://imdb.com/name/nm0001372/

She not funny but she's amusing in a "Kelly Rippa" sort of way. Trouble is they probably don't need another one on daytime TV

That was her? And she's getting her own talk show? Strike another blow for some idiot in a five thousand dollar suit making programming decisions at a network ::)
