Boom adds new signal at 97.5 along with Ed Lover, Monie Love

Wonder what will become of the 102.9 signal once it's moved to the southwest? Radio One must spend quite some money on changing the logos with all these frequency changes.

Is it safe to say Cumulus and OG 97.9 is on format watch? Radio One now has a chance to take over the Classic HipHop crowd.

Too bad the new signal still sounds just as awful. Their processing sounds really bad and in my opinion turns me off from even wanting to listen. OG 97.9 on the other hand sounds great, very pleasant to my ears.

Music wise, BOOM plays more southern hip hop. OG plays more classic top 40 hip hop. Honestly, both stations are missing out on sooooo many songs that can be classified as "classic hiphop."
