Boston Pops July 4th Concert Will Not Air Nationwide

Good news for attendees and viewers is that the show will now start an hour earlier as they won't be subjected to CBS's tv times and people can get home earlier before the MBTA shuts down for the night.

Also, July 4th is a Thursday this year and some people (like me) were not able to schedule Friday off from work . Which kinda sucks because I really wanted a four-day weekend here. :-/

I just noticed KING won't be televising the Seattle fireworks this year. Seeing as Seafair is putting it on, KIRO gets the nod both on-air and online - and they're probably grateful for Boston bowing out. KING will have to make do with the Macy*s replay from the Peacock.
