BOSTON POPS ON THE FOURTH OF JULY - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WATCHING IT

Don't waste your time watching the CBS hook-up of the Boston Pops Fourth of July Concert.

It will be hosted by the trailer park shrink - Dr. Phil.
What an embarassment to the Boston Pops and the Boston Symphony which started the Explande Concerts under Arthur Fiedler. Good thing, Fiedler is dead because having Dr. Phil host his concert would surely kill him.

Present Pops Conductor, Keith Lockhart is a sell-out and one terrible conductor. John Williams brought style and intelligence to the Pops which Lockhart has managed to lose in his years behind the batton...along with his wife who he cheated upon.

Better spend your time watching the PBS broadcast of A Capitol Fourth which runs from 8 PM EDT.

Boycott CBS's trashing of an American tradition.

Yes, it's quite a mismatch (and that's stating it mildly). Much akin to casting Wally Cox (Mr. Peepers) as Moses in the movie.

Well Atlanta lucked out. Most of the show was pre-empted because the local display got delayed due to a thunderstorm. Dr. Phil got I think 30 seconds of face time on our local CBS station.

Which one of his infamous lines did he squeeze in, "What the hell were you thinking" or "What you need to do-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o............."
