Boston Radio Presence @Radio Row For The Big Game ?

What shows will be there this year ?

No time to listen as of the next few days.

I imagine quite downsized from the previous few years.

The sports hub is there already not sure about Weei as I don't listen to them as much this time of year.

Felger & Mazz are there. Toucher & Rich sent only Rich. He is getting audio from all the people down there and is live with the show in the morning. I think Zo and Impending Heart Attack are there.

"The big game." "The game." Nobody can speak its name?

I'm going to write it right here: The Super Bowl. Surely, one can still mention this event by its actual name in this context -- discussion on an internet message board -- without having the NFL get on your case for trademark infringement, can't you?

It could be named here but in some cases the NFL is very protective of its trademark. One radio ad for Dean's chip dip had a little fun with it:"We can't say the name of this event, but watching it would be Super...like a Bowl...of Dean's dip."
WRKO used to have a "big game bash" party.
I think NFL tried to shut down things like church gatherings (for charity?) of people watching it.
Of course if you are the Official (Product) of The Super Bowl, go ahead.

What is meant by "Honda is the official car of the Stanley Cup finals"? They officially made a deal.

If those people had to pay an entrance fee or participate in a raffle in order to watch the game, then that would violate the standard warning language -- "any unauthorized rebroadcast of or charge for viewing this game is strictly prohibited." The NFL would have every right to shut the event down if it were being publicized as a "Super Bowl Watch Party" or "Super Sunday Game Day and Raffle," no matter how saintly the people running it may be or how worthy the cause.
