Boston TV Stations In The White Mountains Of Northern New Hampshire?

I know it seems strange to me but there's a town in Northern New Hampshire (AKA: The White Mountains Region) called Waterville Valley that's about a few miles from Plymouth and right on the edge of the White Mountains area and they have their own cable service provider called Skisat Cable and I think you'll find their lineup very interesting:

2- WGBH (PBS) Boston
3- HBO
4- WBZ (CBS) Boston
5- WCVB (ABC) Boston

Yes It does seem kind of strange, but why would they offer ALL Boston TV Stations in Northern New Hampshire? It's because Waterville Valley is NOT part of the Boston-Manchester DMA, it's actually part of the Burlington-Plattsburgh DMA where it's even more stange is because they don't offer at least one Burlington TV Station in there except for one Portland TV Station in there, at least add channel 3 or 31 on there if anyone can, and why would they offer Boston TV Stations like WGBH-TV Channel 2 in Northern New Hampshire? Isn't a little bit too far out to get it in Northern Hew Hampshire where people can actually get it that's closer to Boston? Well whatever it is feel free to comment on what you think about Boston TV Stations In The White Mountains Of Northern New Hampshire, Thanks!

I was at Black Bear a few weeks ago and they have Time Warner Cable.

I also actually forgot to say that Skisat Cable now no longer exisits as a cable company as it was purched by Time Warner Cable Of Plymouth, NH In October 2011, and completly changed their lineup at the beggining of this year where they NOW officialy have Burlington TV Stations for the very 1st time! although they did keep at least 2 Boston TV Stations in their lineup, and speaking of lineup, here's the lineup that shows proof of it:

*Sigh* Everything was much more better with ALL The Boston TV Stations, But now they're only 2 of them, that's a real shame isn't? :(

Yes, because WCVB is the best of the Boston stations and they apparently dropped them according to the list you posted. I guess I won't be going to the White Mountains anytime soon :D

I suspect they have the Boston channels because their viewership is largely people from the Boston area who either vacation there or have second homes there.

Yeah, but when those people from Boston go to Waterville Valley on their vacation right now, they'll be able to find out that only 2 out of 8 Boston TV Stations (WBZ and WHDH) are on their TV lineup and I'll bet they'll be very furious to find out that a big name cable company took over Cable TV coverage in Waterville Valley! ;D

58 Camera

I actually remember going to Waterville Valley back in 1995, and the lineup actually hasn't even changed much since then! The only difference was I think there were only 36 channels (like most rural cable operators, at least of that time), but I think most of the locals were the same, though I do remember WNNE being on channel 21. I also remember they also offered cable FM, and they got a lot of the Boston radio stations, including Kiss 108, which I found strange, because I think there was a 107.9 that I could get over the air, which was public radio. I haven't been there since then. Do they still have cable FM radio up there?

Is the deletion of Boston stations temporary while their burnt transmitting antenna is being repaired?

Yeah, It really hasn't changed a bit at all, but right up untill January 1st of this year, that's when everything started to change, but at least WNNE's back on Waterville Valley's Cable TV Lineup so that's not so bad, and I'm not really sure if they really still do have a cable FM up there at all, but I think most of the towns radio stations they get are North Country radio stations.

Hmmm... I have no idea on that one.
