I am sorry I was not aware of the rule that says you required to post only about the subject at the start of thread and you can not comment on other programs or personalities at the same station. For the record, I think Kuhner and his listeners are the most entertaining content on radio. He is so bad it is comical. As an elected Democratic Party Official I think Kuhner provides a great service to Democrats by giving the lunatic fridge a voice. Many people need to be reminded that these people exist.

To those of you who actually listen to kuhner......PLEASE....report back tomorrow and let the rest of us know how he claimed that the reason he got into radio was because of limbaugh and PLEASE, let us know if he claims that he met rush and him and rush are friends, etc etc and how rush listens to his program, you know, like Trump's people do! And let us know how he's being pressured to take over limbaugh's spot on national radio, yeah, that's the ticket, kuhner's going national baybeeee!

Soooo.....has koooooonah shown up for work or is he too crushed over the death of his best friend rush? If he did show up, let me guess, he's got the drama queen tears going and telling everyone how after rush got the medal of freedom he immediately called kooonah and told him that he, rush, was going to fedex the medal to koooonah because kooooonah deserves it more than rush.....did he also mention how rush's wife called him personally yesterday to tell him of rush's passing? Did kooooonah mention how limbaugh used to listen to his show to do show prep (instead of the other way around?) What is kooonah going to do now that rush isn't around to make predictions that kooooooonah can take credit for, he must be in a panic.
Pretty close. From 6:00am till now it is a complete Rush tribute which I understand. CK has laid it on thick how he didn't think he was going to make it through the day yesterday. The callers are claiming that CK is as good as Limbaugh was.
When I see a post I am not interested in I just scroll on by. The reason I enjoy this site is the volume of the content and the number of different opinions. I am not complaining about Crazy Kuhner just commenting on his show so I don't think my posts would be appropriate for your pinned thread but please go ahead and start one.
Jeff Kuhner is a brilliant talk show host and continues to enjoy the highest ratings WRKO has had in mornings in a long time, although outside of any demographic advertisers want. What makes him brilliant is he continues to attract people who hate him and continue to listen to him a lot. Also, listeners who loudly claim to never listen, quote things he allegedly said up to 11 years ago. That is certainly staying power. He has a dynamic personality that draws people in to listen and or talk about him. Brilliant. There are not many talk show hosts who are so engaging that people continue to remember things he said over the years. Keep listening and talking about him. Good for business!
I wouldn't go so far as to call him brilliant but he does have a good act. If you think for a minute that he believes half of what comes out of his mouth you are quite naive. And as I suspect you work at RKO you know I am correct. He is memorable because what he says is so absurd. For example, he told listeners that he is perfect health and if anything happens to him it would have to be foul play. Saying idiotic things like that doesn't take brilliance. He has lasted at RKO for as long as he has partly due to the fact that there is a shortage of good talk talent. If he is so good why is still on just one station.

I've listened to K000nah for years. Folks here know that, I'd said so in the past. I've also said I find K000nah's political analysis to be extremely good... when he's not going off the deep end with alex jones conspiracy theories. I think the name calling, funny voices, etc all do him more harm than good (maybe that's why he's not NATIONAL BAAAAAAYBE after... how many years now?)
I listen to K00nah because there's no other real, good alternatives to live talk dealing with Mass and national issues like K00nah deals with. I use to listen to Hank Stoltz on WCRN in this timeslot which was a good alternative, although a little to W000stah-centric in some cases, but Hank was an extremely good talk show host IMHO. I prefer "live" talk, rather than podcasts, I listen to podcasts mainly on weekends when there's absolutely nothing else on. So, sure, I could listen to Hannity or Howie or Pags from 6-10, but I'd rather "save" those for the weekend.

On a semi-related note, has VB started his new gig in Albany? How's he making out?

Funny you should mention that I just caught him briefly a few mornings ago. Doug was teamed with a female whose name I don't remember. She referenced his old handle --without using it- and was embarrassed by it.

Sir. I have never worked in radio. I do not understand why you would reduce your credibility with such an incorrect assertion. I am also not naive. Second incorrect assertion. Jeff is an entertainer. That is what he gets paid for. You appear to be a regular listener so he is successful getting you to listen. His ratings are higher than WRKO has experienced in many years, again outside of what advertisers look for but the station is targeting that audience. Why would you want to get rid of a great live and local talk show host for one that is national? Why don’t you want him to continue to be successful?
Why do you hate him so much? Why does his great success at WRKO bother you? As I mentioned,
I would much rather have a live and local host focusing on local issues.
