Breaking News: Worcester's Oldies 98-9 to go all-Christmas Monday morning

Moments ago, while delivering his 6:25am newsbreak on 100FM The Pike, Oldies 98-9's Adam Webster mentioned that 98-9 will go all-Christmas on Monday morning. He didn't specify the time but his show starts at 6am so presumably at that time. Adam is NOT happy about it either. And he also mentioned that he was talking specifically about Oldies 98-9 and not The Pike.

I listen to The Pike here at home in Central Mass. and I really hope they don't go all-Christmas. They didn't last year (only maybe a day or two right at Christmas) and I don't recall 98-9 going all-Christmas this early last year either.

Adam Webster should be happy that he has a job in radio when so many others don't.

As for Oldies 98.9 going all Christmas. It's the only All Christmas music station that I'll listen to. IMHO, it's the most refreshing Christmas music mix on the radio dial. And kudos to them for actualling saying Christmas and not Holiday like most of the other stations.

It's a "Classic Christmas" for me on Oldies 98.9!
