BREAKING NEWS

A website which collects and saves digital copies of multiple newspapers would be expensive to operate. The database would be huge.
They could pull in some money from online ads but I doubt that the ads would cover the full operating expenses of the website.
I'm guessing that the newspaperarchive.com website is designed to serve the various types of media rather than the general public.
At $19.95 for one month or $74.96 for six months, the cost is a very reasonable expense for a media outlet. Not so much for an individual.
that's my 2¢ worth.
