Brent Musburger (formerly of CBS, ABC and ESPN) is Done Calling Games for Las Vegas Raiders

Brent Musburger (at 83 years old) is done calling games for the Las Vegas Raiders. The longtime broadcaster who's worked as the team's radio play-by-play voice since 2018 announced the news on Twitter Friday morning while thanking the franchise for "fond memories." Musburger, 83, didn't expound on his exit or what might come next. The Raiders didn't address his departure.
He was fired in 1990 amid a talent shakeup at CBS before joining ABC and ESPN that same year. He was the face of the network's college football game coverage throughout the BCS era until his departure in 2017.

He had a three year deal and they decided not to renew. Marv Albert retired at 80. Brent is 83. At some point, it's time to retire.

I recall reading a story years ago about a reporter who was sent to interview Musburger. At that point, the reporter had only seen him calling games and offering commentary on TV and knew little about him outside of that. They ended up meeting up for dinner to do the interview, and the more Musburger drank, the better and funnier and more zany the stories he would tell, infused by a healthy peppering of F-bombs. The reporter seemed quite impressed and said it was one of the better interviews they'd conducted at that point. Lol
