Buffalo Bills find a new radio home in Rochester...

...and it's none other than WHAM! Annoucement was made during the five o'clock news. John Murphy was on air today discussing the deal to play games in Toronto and that's when I heard Murphy then welcome WHAM back to the Buffalo Bills Radio Network. Later on Bredan O'Riodan annouced it again. Both 98.1 and 1280 will also air various Bills events.

??? Why WHAM? I thought they were a News/talk station. Don't you guys have a "Sports leader" there?

We do, and it's WHTK 1280. However WHAM has carried the Bills in the past and has its own sports talker Bob Matthews plus WHAM is like the mothership of the CC cluster in Rochester.

For a split second there, I thought CHFI (98.1) Toronto was in on the deal. Hell, it's only a matter of time. So now the question is does Chuck Dickerson, whom the Bills revile, continue doing his ghastly (and gas-ly) postgame show on 1180?

Actually, no.
CHFI (Toronto's "lite" music station) and Fan 590 are the same company.
Depending on which sport 590 already has contracted to cover durring a Bills game, you *might* have a good point.

However, if it's FM, I could better bet Toronto's Jack would pick up Bills games instead,(CHFI's sister station) given their most recent switch to rock, and the connection between rock radio and the Bills.

Excellent point though.
I believe 8 Bills games are going to be played in Toronto very soon at the Rogers centre (aka Toronto's Skydome).
