Voting appears to be in and results will be released on Monday for the slate of 2025 Buffalo Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame honors. Nominees in the RADIO category this year were:

RONALD “RONNIE D” DOMBROWSKI – Ethnic Broadcaster (Polka), WECK, WXRL (active)
DAN FISCHER -WBTA (active)
DAVE JICKSTER -WGRF (active)
HANK NEVINS – WBEN, WLVL (active)
JON SUMMERS – WKBW, WKBW-TV (retired)

Out of this list who were vetted by the BBA's nomination committee & Board of Directors, who would you inducted into the Buffalo HOF?

Jon Summers should definitely go in. Long and distinguished career. Great voiceover talent as well.

He is the only one on the list I ever heard proclaim the F-word loud & clear during a live broadcast!

Of course I don't believe any of the other inductees, of this or any year for that matter, were ever hit in the face with a puck during a broadcast. And for what it's worth, it was very clear and concise. Enunciated perfectly.
 
Worked for Dan Fischer at WKSN Jamestown from 1979-1981. Would have been wonderful to see him and Jon Summers get in.
