To Radio-Info contributors living elsewhere in the Eastern and Central time zones: How many stations broke into their 6 P.M. EDT/5 P.M. CDT local newscasts to carry the President's statement in its entirety live, and how many stuck with their regular early-evening local news and not aired the speech ?? Hi everyone:

To make things interesting (If for no other reason), KMGH 7 (ABC) here in Denver (In the MOUNTAIN Time Zone) carried part of Bush's speech during its 4:00 PM newscast. Not sure whose feed they picked up as I saw no bug at the bottom of the screen (I'm assuming it was one of the alternate ABC feeds used mainly for off-air stuff, though I could be wrong on that). Not sure what the other stations (Especially NBC affiliate KUSA 9, who was in the middle of their 4:00 PM newscast at the time) did as I wasn't in a position to channel surf at the time.

I'm assuming all the cable news nets carried it though.

Here in Houston only two of the major four carried the whole speech, KRIV FOX 26 Carried the speech from the begining and KPRC LOCAL 2 came in after that, KHOU and KTRK just mentioned that the president was speeking about that bill but just continued with their 5pm cst newscasts
