Cable systems located in one market that carry another market’s channels in HD

Waldron Communications Waldron MI (Hillsdale County - Lansing DMA) only has Toledo stations in HD and SD - no Michigan stations at all (not even FOX Sports Detroit)!
http://www.wcomco.net/images/channellist.pdf

Still the case in 2019, although Waldron has added some subchannel networks that aren't cleared by the Toledo stations, such as:
This TV
Cozi TV
Get TV
Light TV
Buzzr

It still lists WNWO as having RTN, although it was dropped for Stadium in 2017. It's also one of two Michigan systems to carry WBGU (the other being Buckeye in Bedford Township, which borders Toledo)

Two systems in Michigan, both in the Traverse City DMA
Carr Communications - Baldwin, MI: http://home.carrinter.net/video/channels.php
Kaleva Telephone - Kaleva, MI: http://kaltelnet.net/pages/video.html

The exact channels aren't listed, but both carry WZZM from Grand Rapids for ABC HD instead of WGTU, the in-market affiliate, which isn't carried at all on either system.

Both have replaced WZZM with WGTU. Carr also serves Walkerville, which is in the Grand Rapids DMA (but could have easily ended up in the TC-C DMA if not for WGTU's historical ineptitude)

Bend Broadband Madras, OR (Jefferson County - Portland OR DMA) carries ABC, NBC, and PBS Bend in HD alongside the Portland Big Four + MNT. CW is SD only from Bend and PBS Bend is a satellite of PBS Portland: https://tvlistings.zap2it.com/api/p...19-11-03T02:00Z&dstOffset=-420&stdOffset=-480

Northland Cable Mt. Shasta/Dunsmuir, CA (Siskiyou County - Medford DMA) carries ABC and PBS Redding in HD alongside the Medford Big Four + CW. SD adds Medford MNT and religious independent KBLN: https://tvlistings.zap2it.com/api/p...19-11-03T02:00Z&dstOffset=-420&stdOffset=-480

I have Xfinity in Danbury, Connecticut, which as with the rest of Fairfield County, is considered part of the NYC market.

We get all the NYC affiliates in HD, but Xfinity also carries half the affiliates of the Hartford/New Haven market, all in SD. We get WFSB (CBS), WVIT (NBC), and WCCT (CW). We do not get WTIC (FOX) or WCTX (MyTV). They did carry WTNH (ABC) at first, but removed it about 2-3 years ago. They recently filled the void left by its channel 8 slot with NYC's MeTV affiliate.

In terms of PBS, we get WNET New York and WEDH Hartford (which is HD unlike the other CT networks). For the 24-hour PBS Kids subchannel, we only get the one from WNET, which I believe implements a few schedule changes independently. We do not get New York's other PBS affiliate WLIW.

The following are all Fidelity Communications systems.

Adrian, MO (Bates County - Kansas City DMA) carries PBS Columbia/Jefferson City in HD alongside the Kansas City Big Four + PBS (CW, Ion, MNT, and KMCI are SD only): http://www.fidelitycommunications.com/processing/mklineup.php?townid=31
Hardy/Cherokee Village/Highland, AR (all Sharp County - Jonesboro DMA) carries NBC and CW Springfield in HD alongside the Jonesboro Big Four + PBS + KVTN (CW Jonesboro is SD only): http://www.fidelitycommunications.com/processing/mklineup.php?townid=19
Harrisonburg, MO (Cass County - Kansas City DMA) carries PBS Columbia/Jefferson City in HD alongside the Kansas City Big Four + Ion (CW, MNT, PBS, and KMCI are SD only): http://www.fidelitycommunications.com/processing/mklineup.php?townid=20
Nevada, MO (Vernon County - Joplin/Pittsburg DMA) carries PBS Kansas City in HD alongside the Joplin/Pittsburg Big Four + CW (Joplin/Pittsburg PBS isn't carried at all; SD adds NBC Kansas City): http://www.fidelitycommunications.com/processing/mklineup.php?townid=7
Salem, MO (Dent County - Springfield DMA) carries PBS St. Louis in HD alongside the Springfield Big Four + CW + KOZL (Springfield PBS isn't carried at all): http://www.fidelitycommunications.com/processing/mklineup.php?townid=18
Thayer, MO/Mammoth Springs, AR (Oregon (MO) and Fulton (AR) Counties - both Springfield DMA) carries ABC Jonesboro in HD alongside the Springfield Big Four + CW + PBS + KOZL: http://www.fidelitycommunications.com/processing/mklineup.php?townid=29

Consolidated Communications Mankato/North Mankato (Blue Earth - Mankato DMA/Nicollet Counties-Minneapolis DMA) MN carries Minneapolis Big 4 + WFTC FOX 9+ (formerly MyNet) + KTCA PBS in HD alongside locals KEYC CBS & FOX
Mankato is a 1 station market (KEYC CBS & FOX)
SD adds KTCI (2nd PBS)
CW is the CW+ national feed in SD only
https://www.consolidated.com/DesktopModules/MVC/ChannelLineup/Resources/pdf/minnesota.pdf

note this lineup is for multiple spots in MN. We do NOT get KSTC (Independent) in Mankato/North Mankato. Technically North Mankato gets shafted as Nicollet County is in the Minneapolis DMA so they should get KSTC and KPXM (Ion) but they dont. Ion is not carried at all (not even the national feed)

Actually North Mankato is in the Mankato DMA. The rest of Nicollet County is in MSP. Nicollet is a split county (much like Solano CA and Oneida NY).

That must have changed in the last couple years or so because North Mankato on satellite still gets all the Minneapolis stations + KEYC. When I put in a N Mankato zip on Dish it shows all Mpls stations + KEYC CBS & FOX

Mankato/N Mankato is also unique as depending on what provider you use you can one of 4 different options for CW
-Spectrum gets KTTC-DT2 Rochester (for some reason since KTTC NBC is not carried)
-Consolidated is "KWYE" the CW+ cable feed
-Directv imports WUCW Minneapolis
-Dish you're screwed in Mankato but North Mankato gets WUCW (due to the note above). Actually in Mankato proper Dish subs are screwed period as they only get KEYC (CBS/FOX), imported KSTP (ABC), KARE (NBC) and the National PBS..so 5 networks. North Mankato gets 14

Comcast Lancaster, PA (Lancaster County - Harrisburg et al DMA) carries ABC, FOX, MNT, and NBC Philadelphia in HD alongside the Harrisburg/Lancaster locals: https://tvlistings.zap2it.com/api/p...19-11-03T02:00Z&dstOffset=-240&stdOffset=-300

Armstrong Rising Sun, MD (Cecil County - Baltimore DMA) carries NBC Lancaster and ABC, FOX, ION, and PBS (WHYY) Philadelphia in HD alongside most Baltimore locals (MPB is SD only on channel 43 (!!)). SD adds MNT Philadelphia and Telemundo New York (!): https://tvlistings.zap2it.com/api/p...19-11-03T02:00Z&dstOffset=-240&stdOffset=-300

On the flip side with Cecil County, MD: I once stayed at the Motel 6 in Elkton on MD Route 279, a mile or less from the DE border. The only locals their "cable" carried? The big 4 from Baltimore and, I believe, one of the Maryland Public Television stations. Nothing from the Philadelphia/Wilmington DMA next door. (This was in June of 2014.)

SKSRT Pendleton County, WV (Harrisonburg VA DMA) carries CW and NBC Bluefield-Beckley as well as CBS, FOX, and NBC Clarksburg-Weston in HD alongside ABC, CBS, and FOX Harrisonburg (the Harrisonburg market doesn't have an NBC affiliate). SD adds ABC Clarksburg-Weston and three PBS members (WVPT, WVPBS, and MPT): http://spruceknob.net/pdf/pend-numeric-guide.pdf

SKSRT Pocahontas County, WV (Roanoke VA DMA) carries CW and NBC Bluefield-Beckley as well as CBS, FOX, and NBC Clarksburg-Weston in HD alongside the Big Four + CW + ION Roanoke (the PDF only notes WSLS (NBC) from Roanoke in HD but Zap2it shows the other Roanokes in HD). SD adds ABC Clarksburg-Weston and four PBS members (WBRA, WVPT, WVPBS, and MPT): http://spruceknob.net/pdf/poca-numeric-guide.pdf

Oddly, neither system has any PBS in HD and doesn't carry any subchannel not affiliated with a major network.

Big Sandy Broadband (various towns in Johnson and Floyd County, KY...Charleston/Huntington, WV DMA) carries WYMT Hazard (Lexington) for CBS instead of in market WOWK which is not carried at all.
The rest of the Charleston/Huntington nets (NBC, ABC, FOX, MY and CW) are carried in HD.
PBS is carried from the statewide Kentucky PBS from the affiliate in Ashland (which is part of the DMA). WV PBS is not carried (which is logical).
WYMT-DT2 (Heroes & Icons/local programming) is also carried in HD (the chart says ThisTV but screener confirmed its WYMT-DT2 which did carry ThisTv previously).
SD adds WLJC Beattyville (religious/COZI TV) and Ion per screener says WUPX which is Lexington's Ion (Charleston has WLPX)

http://bigsandybb.net/services/cable-tv/cable-tv-channel-lineup/

FiberVision Marion County, FL (Orlando DMA) carries ABC, CBS, and PBS Gainesville in HD alongside Orlando's Big Four + CW + MNT + independent WRDQ (none of the Orlando market PBS or educational stations are carried at all). SD adds MNT Gainesville: http://www.lightningspeed.net/pdf/packageUltimate07-11-16.pdf

Comcast Dunnellon, FL (Marion County - Orlando DMA) carries the following in HD:
ABC + CBS Orlando
ABC + FOX + PBS Gainesville [Gainesville's FOX affiliate is licensed to Ocala, in the Orlando market and is/was a semi-satellite of the Orlando FOX affiliate]
CTN + NBC + Univision Tampa

SD adds CBS, CW, and MNT Tampa/St. Petersburg and NBC and WACX Orlando (again, no Orlando PBS): https://tvlistings.zap2it.com/api/p...19-11-03T02:00Z&dstOffset=-240&stdOffset=-300

Atlantic Broadband in Hebron, NH (Grafton County, Burlington VT DMA) carries:
-WGBH, WBZ, WCVB, WHDH, WBTS, WFXT, WSBK, and WLVI from Boston
-WMUR and WENH from NH
-WCSH and WGME from Portland, ME

Even though Hebron is in Grafton County, which is part of the Burlington, VT DMA, the cable system there carries NO Burlington stations! If one were to subscribe to YouTube TV in Hebron, they would only get the Burlington locals. How inconsistent!

Fixed.

While WMUR and WENH are in the Boston DMA all NH customers regardless of what DMA they are in get WMUR (per law...that doesnt apply to WENH though)

Oddly, WYCI (Burlington/Plattsburgh's Heroes & Icons affiliate) is carried

Grafton and Sullivan county, NH get WENH (and WMUR) on satellite, alongside the Burlington stations. When I stayed in Hebron this past weekend, I was watching some DVR'd programs through my YouTube TV subscription, which in that area only carries the Burlington CBS/ABC/NBC/FOX stations (and surprisingly, Telemundo Boston).
