Cable systems located in one market that carry another market’s channels in HD

Charter Ste Genevieve MO has CBS, NBC, FOX and The CW from St Louis in HD, but carries ABC and PBS from Illinois (Paducah DMA). KDNL and KETC are SD only.
 
Comcast Ladd, IL (Bureau County - Quad Cities DMA) carries ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, and NBC from the Quad Cities and FOX and PBS from Chicago in HD. SD adds CBS, CW, ION, and TBN from Chicago, NBC from Peoria, and MNT and TBN from the Quad Cities. Probably one of the only systems to carry two different TBN stations. So they carry two TBNs, with almost the exact same programming? That's odd.

This system also serves Antwerp OH (Paulding County - Fort Wayne DMA). No Toledo stations are carried in SD either. It also carries FOX Sports Midwest (Indiana), not FS Ohio. This is Mediacom's only system in Ohio.

Charter Bridgeport AL (Huntsville DMA) doesn't carry Alabama PBS but does have GPB, WTCI Chattanooga and all of Chattanooga's network affiliates in SD. WAAY is the only Huntsville station carried, and it's SD only. In HD, only Chattanooga's Big 4 and WTCI are carried.
 
Comcast West Palm Beach carries Miami's WPBT (PBS) and WSCV (Telemundo) in SD and HD. WPBT co-exists with in-market member WXEL.

These two areas likely would have been in the Gainesville market if that market had more than one commercial station at the dawn of cable. The newer Gainesville stations can likely be received OTA in at least Lake City and maybe even Live Oak.
 
Comcast and Wave Broadband in Bellingham WA carry CBC Vancouver in HD along with the Seattle stations.
