Can any other FM oldies stations be heard in New York?

I know that some station in the city will eventually pick up the oldies format, but in the meantime, is there any other oldies station with a decent signal in the New York metro area?
______________

Anytime today...Sunday...
you might try the place Norm N Nite mentioned on WCBS-FM
during his show 2 wks ago from the Rock Hall:

www.SundayOldiesJukebox.com

(But only if you don't mind zero commercials....
and thousands of selections from the 50's & 60's)...
and your requests (9-Mid).

While it's an internet stream, try Chicago's Real Oldies 1690 AM at: http://www.realodies1690.com

Re: FM Oldies Stations Streaming...

I personally suggest Oldies 95 from Fort Myers. They're using a package similar to that of CBS-FM. Before, they really sounded like CBS-FM. And might I add, they also play Elvis.
______________

Is this the station with Scott Miller on afternoon drive. He was on WJMK in Chicago and is now somewhere in FL. He VT's Sunday evenings on WRLL, Real Oldies, in Chicago. Just heard CCR for a moment when I went to the stream.

I couldn't tell you, as I just discovered this stream today. I've actually been listening to sister station Cat Country 100 online, so I thought I'd give it a shot, and it came up aces... Find out all the info you want on Oldies 95 at WOLZ.com.
______________

I might have heard WOLZ 95.3 today on e-skip. If you want oldies on FM, go start a pirate station and play oldies on it, because it's unlikely to come back. Otherwise, throw your radio out the window and listen to streaming oldies stations.
______________

suburban WKHL-FM & WBZO-FM

On FM in the tri-state looks like WKHL would be the best bet in suburban Conneticut. Can be picked up in CT, Westchester and part of the Bronx and Queens but not the city itself.
They do stream however.

In suburban Long Island there's WBZO-FM serving Bay Shore, LI and reaching parts of Queens and Brooklyn but once again with problems in the city itself.

FYI...they also now claim to be New Yorks ONLY oldies station.

Ok I have to give my crew a plug. If some Sunday you are in
front of your computer and want oldies, why not try the
Sunday Oldies Jukebox?

SundayOldieJukebox.com

25 hours of commercial free oldies. I have to admit I am
a bit prejudiced as I work there, but if I'm not listening
to them I'm listening to a CD or my mp3 player/computer.

Re: FM Oldies Stations Streaming...

A few weeks ago when I listened on a Sunday, I thought that their music sounded similar to what CBS-FM played in the seventies. And you can not get better than that.

Give this station a try. If you like a variety of oldies, you will love this station.
