any assitance would be appreciative. WE are new owners and we are very interested in this.
 
If you are looking for an FM transaltor to use with your AM station, go to http://www.fccinfo.com/cmdpro.php?sz=L&wd=1280 and do a search in the city of interest. If there are existing translator licenses in that locality and they are at a frequnecy above 91.9 mhz, you may be able to negotiate with the owner to acquire the license. The owner's name & contact info will be listed along with other useful details about the translator. Note that an owner of a commercial or non-com station is not permitted to acquire a LPFM station.
