Can You ID the people besides Larry Ickeys of KOIT in this 1978 Radio ID's

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66ObiJqIfVE

Are these other people still alive today or retired from Radio or active in Other parts of the USA? Besides the Koit one. We know what happend to KDFC and KDFM now KDFM is KKDV Walnut Creek and owned by KUIC FM of VacaVille. and KDFC went to 90.3 and 89.9FM. Koit is at the Same place KABL is now KISQ, KQED in the Same Place, KRE is now KBLX, KKHI went to KPIX 95.7 in 1994 and in 2011 as The Wolf, KSFX 103.7 AOR is The Band Classic Rock. KYUU as Now 99.7, KSAN is at 107.7

It's spelled Ickes.

I don't know most of those voices, but I think KYUU might be Stefan Ponek, who was an old progressive rock FM DJ (KSAN Jive 95) who later spent a few (probably frustrated) years at KYUU. I could be wrong, though. Stefan passed away a few years ago. He also worked at Magic 61.

I think the K-101 voice could be Sam Van Zandt, who spent years at KIOI, later at K-Big 98.1, and now works at K-Bay

FYI: Between KPIX and The Wolf, 95.7 was also Z95.7, The Bear, Max-FM and one other that I'm blanking on at the moment.

95.7 the Drive?

That's it! Thanks. After Bonneville bought 95.7 from Westinghouse, it's first "format" for a surprisingly long time was a simulcast of their Chicago CHR station. It was interesting hearing Chicago traffic reports. Call letters were KOYT. I guess you could count that too.

I forgot that KMEL is in the Same place as it was in 1978.

also KIOI is in the same place.

So is KFOG - but in 78 they were still playing "Beautiful Music." The station flipped to what is more-or-less the current format in September 1982.
