Can you tell me how to contact TV Guide Magazine to get vintage back issues?

I know there are on Ebay, but I wanted to know if it's a good idea to contact TV Guide Magazine to get some,
I try to find on Ebay, find but I can't find more of it and I'm trying to get a San Diego Edition from the week of March 2 to 8, 1996 but it's no there, it would be simple and better that TV Guide would have a special interface where I visit TV Guide Magazine>Archive>See Editions(Visible)>PDF,
then Select Country>State>Edition>Month>Year>Day.

Back in the 80s when I wanted out old copies of TV Guide I simply called them and they put me in touch with three others who sold old TV Guides. No questions were asked !! Quick & easy !!!

Today with the internet you will have to email TV Guide. They may or may not answer you. If it goes to the circulation department they may or may not forward your email and they may or may not ask you why you want that specific issue Was it due to a story ?? A listing or an ad ?? Then in that case, the latter they will tell you to contact the TV station in question who may or may not respond to your email. With the internet not everything is so simple. Today if one were to contact TV Guide online it is do it at your own risk. You are better off calling them which the phone number can be found online.

You are talking about a very expensive project with nearly no economic benefit for TV Guide.

The best bet is to keep looking on eBay. And if you live in the market whose issues you are looking for, try estate and garage sales.

Check with local "antique malls" and ask about sellers who deal in magazines. Get the word out and you might find a motherlode.

I remember, pre-internet, there was a guy who advertised in collector magazines that he sold and bought old TV Guide issues, including pre-national editions. I think his name was Howard Rogofsky or something similar.

There was a guy about 30 years ago named Jeff Cadet ( ? on spelling ) out of Macomb, IL who bought/sold old copies of TV Guide. I bought a few from him. He could very well still be dong it.

What kind of antique malls and estate sales in San Diego where I can find who have the old past issues of TV Guide(San Diego Edition)?
