Canadian Talk/Public Radio Station on 990 kHz??

Was picking up a Canadian talk station on 990 kHz at about 9:30pm EST in Vermilion, OH. R/L shows a 990 in Montreal with a sports format. Anyone know what other 990s in Canada would be talk or maybe CBC/Public Radio in Ontario? Didn't hear it long enough to ID it.

CBW Winnipeg, MB (CBC Radio One). Comes in most nights in Bellevue, but suffers from major KOMO 1000 slop. Should be easy during the winter in the midwest.

CBW-990 from Winnipeg is a "Frequent Flyer" in Central KY. That's most likely what you heard.

I've heard CBW numerous times in Ohio. Have never heard Montreal there (CIGM or whatever).

Wellsville, NY
Saturday morning (Jan 21) I was scouting around the AM band and for my first time I came across 990 CBW (been trying for a long while). I listened for a half-hour, 7:00 to 7:30 am...faded in and out most of the time but it was my first catch of that station! I was listening on my Tecsun PL-390.

CBW is one of the strongest stations in the Duluth, MN area. Before WMVP started generating IBOC slop all over it (and back when I had my Malibu, which was much "quieter" on AM than my current Park Avenue), I used to often tune to it when there was nothing good on local public radio.

I have been hearing whichever station is on Central Time in Canada--I guess it is the Winnepeg station. I guess it comes in after WITZ signs off in Jasper, Indiana.

When I was growing up in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 70's, CBW was a regular late at night, my most reliable Canadian signal. I would have to null out the Wichita Falls station, IIRC.
