Listeners responding in overwhelming numbers to Connie and Fish's 39 hours of live broadcasting from University of Wisconsin Children's Hospital topped last year's donations by $150,000.

The third annual Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon on radio station Z104 FM (WZEE) raised $665,000 from 2,300 donors who joined the Connie and Fish Cure Kids Club, the DJs announced Friday evening.

Last year, the radiothon raised $512,000 for the UW Children's Hospital, and it raised $400,000 in its first year, 2005. ...
