CapRadio I Street building lease dispute goes to court

I would imagine CapRadio/ASU retrieved the brand-new equipment that had already been installed. I'm curious as to how they're using the studio spaces (private conversation/conference space, perhaps?)

As a refresher, here are photos I took when CapRadio employees toured the facility in February of 2023, expecting to be working there by that summer:

There is one error in the Bee piece...it says Jun Reina stopped paying rent in July 2024. Reina had been gone more than a year at that point.
 
True and when CapRadio was originally going to be on I street there was also a proposal that CapRadio would have to move to KVIE-TV offices if Sacramento’s NPR and PBS affiliates merged. But we now know the Audit by CPB and the SacState board stopped that from happening due to allegations of misused funds. Also if KVIE really did take over CapRadio then the I street offices would have been cancelled immediately due to KVIE’s staff mainly located at 2030 West El Camino Drive in the Natomas neighborhood of Sacramento.
