Casino Radio show heralds southern Indiana

The state’s newest casino, still struggling to find its financial footing, is beaming its homespun radio show into cyberspace.

"The Hoosier Jubilee" is presented by the French Lick Resort Casino...debuted April 8 on WIAU-FM (95.9) in Franklin and WURK-FM (101.7) in Anderson.

"The Hoosier Jubilee" features music along with stories of small-town life in French Lick...The idea is similar to the Lake Wobegon tales by Garrison Keillor on public radio’s "A Prairie Home Companion."

More like a blanant rip off... I smell a lawsuit.

If WIAU were still doing a decent job of playing oldies (vs taking the cheap way out via the bird), I would be grumbling. Now I don't care if they simulcast NOAA Weatheradio...they'd get about the same amount of my listening time either way...
