Cat's Out of the Bag: WNKT Launches Monday

Brent Johnson is doing the intro and will be on from 12-1.

All Gamecock Sports now consolidated on 107.5. Including football starting with Clemson.

Fox Sports affiliation switches to 107.5 from 1400, plus NFL package and NCAA package.
 
They were in stereo as of 3 p.m. Prior to that, my stereo indicator in the car was fading in and out.

Now let's see which sports station will bail out first...WCOS-AM or WZMJ? My guess will be The Fan since they will lose the Fox Sports affliation early next year to WNKT. Also will WVOC will finally stop saying that they have "the best Gamecock coverage"?
 
WVOC never will.

If folks take to The Game as an everyday proposition, rather than just for the USC sports events, I think it sucks the oxygen out of the room for both 93.1 and 1400. I am surprised that Clear Channel is bailing Fox Sports off it's own station.
 
Brent is a very smart programmer. I see sportsradio 1400 switching formats.
 
Did anyone get any audio of the flip? I posted some audio of the Garth Brooks loop-a-thon, when they played The Dance for something like 76 hours straight, interspaced with liners directing listeners to 96.9 The Wolf.
