You probably heard the news this morning. If you didn't, there was a big announcement.

"My dear friend, Tina Macuha has Stage Zero breast cancer.

Knowing her family history, Tina has always been proactive about her health, so doctors were able to catch it early. The survival rate for her type of cancer--when caught early-- is about 100%.

Tina begins her fight tomorrow with a bilateral mastectomy.

I admire her courage and strength for sharing her story with all of us. Honestly, I don't know if I could do the same. She hopes her story will help others and based on the hundreds of emails and well wishes...I think it has.

Please keep my friend in your prayers. I'll update you on her progress. "

good day just aired a video from News 10's morning crew, sending tina some well wishes.

i watched the announcement yesterday morning and just felt terrible. i hope all goes well with her surgery today.
