CBS Radio Austin (KKMJ/KAMX/KXBT/KJCE) Go To Entercom

I think KAMX and KKMJ are very safe with possibly just a little image tweaking both graphically and aurally. KJCE is probably the most likely candidate to blow up. Entercom seems to be fond of liberal talkers. Does anyone know KXBT is billing?

Well, with Air America on 1600 already, I don't know if even Austin can support another left-of-the-dial outlet.

Entercom might turn around and unload KJCE, possibly to another existing AM owner in the market that wants a better signal. :-\

I THINK BMP ALREADY OWN THE LIMIT OSF STATIONS IN AUSTIN, 4 AM'S AND 3 FM'S ( I THINK 7 STATIONS IS THE LIMIT). AUSTIN NEEDS A REAL GOOD CLASSIC ROCK STAION AND OLDIES STATION TO FILL IN THE GAPS .

Pretty good company. Emmis os ok. ANYTHING is better than CBS. I'm glad their out. If only it would happen soon in Houston.

I would doubt that. CBS and Radio One are the ONLY good thing about Houston radio. I would trade Cox or Cumulus for them though.
