My friend interning at CBS Radio tells me that they will be flipping underperforming stations in several markets to a Rhythmic CHR format. Washington DC, Miami, and Detroit will be the next markets to flip to CHR.

there is no cbs radio stations in miami, do u happen to mean west palm beach? why would they flip to another station similar to x102.3?

Your posts are missleading,,, do you mean Rhythmic CHR,,, or Mainstream CHR... I dont think it would work in Miami,, you got Y-100 for all the hits,,, Power 96-Hip Hop-Rhythmic POP-Some Dance,, and two mainstream Urbans... What miami needs is a Dance Station.

Washington and Detroit could definately use a Real--Not Rhythmic CHR.... Hot 99.5 used to be OKAY, but I always liked Z-104 better... Detroit has CHR Channel 95.5, which is just a Hip Hop station for white boys, and Detroit has two Urbans,,, Detroit needs a mainstream CHR playing all the hits like former 93.1 DRQ,,, Wouldnt hurt to play some Dance music on a Detroit CHR as well....
