I listened to Domino a few days ago and thought his show sounded voice-tracked. Reminded me of an old Y-100 show from the late 70's without the
distinctive sound of a Don Cox or Robert W. Walker. It sounded scripted or canned to me. Dan Ingram was more of an extemporaneous speaker who
could ad-lib a commercial spot or an intro. I knew he was live and local. Wish Domino would do the same. Till then, I'm back to XM.

Yep, XM is live, local and not voiced-tracked ;)

When I'm listening to ESPN Radio while driving through downtown Hartford, that is correct. :)

In my last post I defended this guy by saying that was cruel. However, once I have had a chance to hear him on the air how can anyone compare him with Dan Ingram. He sounds like he should be in a 200+ ranked market. He sucks.

I listened to Domino the other day. I like the young sound with the format. He did sound a little voice tracked, but had good content in the limited time he has to talk. Sunny is the best station in Orlando radio.

oh, I went to Hofstra myself and worked at their college radio station the same as Dan Ingram and Alan B combs.

Dan ingram has the ability to do intro and make it perfactly match a song intro ... today we can do that with adobe audition. He did it live without a net.

Come on. 1965 Radio and 2010 Radio is totally different. Respect the past and live now, ok.
