What station has the rights to the Jim Rome show at this pint in time anyway?

Well, "not tomorrow" would be true if they're actually planning to flip Monday instead of Jan 2nd.

So I guess the surprise was that they didn't flip 107.1 to sports.![]()
What was he planning on changing at Q? ??? Wow, Wilks has been through a ton of GMs. IIRC, former WGTZ/Dayton GM Don Griffin was there for a very short time a year or so ago.mxyzptlk said:iHeartSiriusXM said:mxyzptlk said:Don't foget this is Wilks. Here's the news on 107.1... Alan Goodman is gone (his choice) from running Wilks. He was the driving force behind the change at 107.1 and some recommended changes at Q. Plans on hold for now.

But, if it makes money for Wilks to do this, then more power to them.

ESPN is a well known product as is Fox Sports at this moment. CBS Sports Radio has been around just 22 days. i think Radiohio would rather have a well known line up on 1460 rather than a still realitive unknown product in CBS SPorts Radio. other than Rome & Ferral on the bench. what does CBS sports radio thats a well known entitybillf82 said:I was thinking yesterday, why didn't RadiOhio grab CBS Sports Radio and put it on 1460, and keep the ESPN Radio affiliate for 97.1? In Cincinnati Clear Channel has both the ESPN and Fox Sports Radio affiliates, so it is allowable.
