CBS Sports Radio coming to 107.1?

WCOL would rejoice if WHOK went sports. Though if they really wanted to be a thorn to 97.1 The Fan they'd put it on 96.3 and put QFM's format on 95.5.

Like I said if they wanted to be a true thorn to The Fan they would. But I agree heritage rules. I say WHOK will move to 107.1 when 955 becomes sports.

This might sound interesting. Since WBNS TV happens to be a CBS affiliate I would think if The fan and 1460 lose ESPN to 95.5 I think CBS Sportsradio will be on The fan. 97.1 would have local show with CBS as filler between shows while the AM runs it fulltime with the exception to local games.

two nes talk stations and 2 sports talk stations? how about just sell the stations?

Actually three news-talk stations:  WTVN, WMNI, The Answer (although the latter two are, for all practical purposes, non-existent ratings-wise -- especially Salem's bad-joke at 98.9).

And potentially three sports talk.  Don't forget nearly non-existent WYTS as well.

..Of course, if you count non-comms, the excessive number of news-talk stations go up even more. WOSU+WCBE get respectable ratings that make WMNI+The Answer look like grains of sand.

Then Torg can come back to WBNS since it was ESPN/Herbstreit that got him fired.
