CBS Vows ‘Future Consequences’ for Further Inappropriate ‘Big Brother’ Behavior

But really if CBS wanted to enforce the conduct of the contestants of Big Brother they would have to threaten Endemol with having their contracts cut off though.

In a statement Tuesday night, CBS said it has addressed two instances of “inappropriate behavior and offensive comments” during the filming of “Big Brother” Season 20, and promised “future consequences” should the behavior continue.

CBS also said the inappropriate behavior would not be shown on any future episode of the series.

The network did not name the involved parties, but its statement followed an uproar after two cast members, Angela Rummans and Rachel Swindler, were seen using racially offensive language on the show’s 24-hour live cam. In the footage, Swindler and Rummans used the term “Ghetto” to refer to their skin color. Swindler also compared her tan to the skin tone of her African-American roommate, Bayleigh Dayton, during the conversation.

Another current cast member, JC Mounduix, was recently criticized after live-cam footage showed him trying to use an ice cream scooper on the genitals of several of his housemates. He was also seen touching a female houseguest’s groin with his hand. The footage led to calls for CBS to remove Mounduix from the show.

I'm surprised there's still an audience for this train wreck of a show.

They should do what Chuck Barris used to do before taping episodes of The Dating Game.
Hire an actor to portray an FCC agent to threaten all participants with big fines and prison time
if they cross the line.

Almost everything else is reruns, that's why people watch every year. Definitely a guilty pleasure here, but I don't waste my money on the live feeds. Still a bit too early to decide who I really like and who sticks out - most of the 'cast' is bland. At least they saved Sam (the robot) from eviction - and there's no returning veterans. Last season was ruined by Paul and we got a pot-banging crazy guy as a winner (Josh). Enough to make me puke!
