I was over on Sirius's site and saw a blurb about this... All ROllinG Stones, all the time.. THe previous Station, Horizons, has this message on its page over on Sirius.com
"ROLLING STONES RADIO
The biggest band in rock just got its own channel—and it's only on SIRIUS.
Find out more.
Horizons is Under Construction!
Don't worry, Soundscapes and the world music that you love returns to SIRIUS on September 29th. During the construction, Larry Kirwan's Celtic Crush can be heard on SIRIUS Disorder // Ch. 24.
SIRIUS always listens to your comments and suggestions, so check back here for a new name and channel number in the coming weeks. Thank you for your patience. "
Also, over on FMBQ, they have a blurb saying that 2 of Howards Channels will debut in September, most likely Sept. 29, on Channels 100 & 101... It goes on to say that Stern announced today on his show that his offoical debut date with Sirius will be January 9th, 2006 and that if Infinity releases him from his contract sooner, he would appear on Sirius, but the entire show wouldn't until the new year...
