Charley Ridgeway 45 year radio vet died saturday april 19

Charley was one of the great guys in the business. I first met him back in the 70's when I was broadcasting high school baseball and football in south Georgia. Even then he had been at it for years and always answered my questions and offered advice. I regret I never really got to know him better.

I don't remember all the details about the story but in the days of GA/FL League Baseball (class D) I believe he was somehow connected with an incident when the batboy was sent in to bat in a game.
