Charlie Morgan is stepping down as SVP/Market Manager for the Emmis managed MediaCo Holdings properties in New York after four years for a new position to be announced.

Morgan joined Emmis New York in January 2016 on an interim basis and was permanently named to the post the following August. Prior to that he spent his entire career in Indianapolis starting on-air at Country 95.5 WFMS in the mid 80s and working up to Operations Manager, Station Manager and later Market Manager of the Susquehanna turned Cumulus cluster there. After a brief stretch as President/COO of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway from 2007 to 2009, he joined Emmis as Market Manager for their Indianapolis cluster where he remained until the move to New York.
