Charlie Sheen on Sports Radio

Putting aside that Charlie Sheen is a train wreck that we're all watching....what do you think of sports talk radio shows giving him a forum?

Is it a way for sports talk shows to be talked about in other media?

Is it the new face of sports talk that (outside of football season)?emphasizes talk and not sports ?

Is it what sports talk listeners want to hear?

I heard him the first time on DP and then three other times. The first time he was actually pretty coherent and they rapped a lot about baseball. However each successive interview you can tell he is spiraling down somewhere. Wow. I don't mind the non-sports world working it's way into sports talk as long as there is some sort of sports tie in. His call in to Loose Cannons was pretty entertaining.

I suppose starring in a fictitious movie about baseball qualifies.
