Chaz Saunders (long of KMJM St. Louis) now on WNOV-AM Milwaukee Middays

I was very surprised to hear one of my all-time favorite DJs Chaz Saunders doing middays on WNOV Milwaukee and its urban AC format. It sounds like she is voicetracked, in fact she may not even be in Milwaukee though she does talk about Milwaukee things. Anyway, she sounds good. This is not where I expected to hear her next however. WNOV has a long heritage but this urban AC format is a very different sound for the station.

This is surprising. I have to imagine she's voice tracking considering she's big time talent and I don't think WNOV could afford her. When I lived there a four years ago, sometimes WNOV sounded like they were broadcasting from somone's basement... very unprofessional.

Another KMJM veteran now at WNOV:

From FMQB "Chuck Atkins is named OM/PD at AC WNOV-AM/Milwaukee. Atkins, who had been serving as the station’s consultant, was formerly OM for Clear Channel-St. Louis and PD at Urban AC KMJM."

Wow, hard to believe this is the same WNOV-AM that had the hip hop/gospel format for so many years.

I actually hear alot less ads on the station now, hope that changes.
