Chris Duel, who hosted mornings at iHeartMedia sports “Ticket 760” KTKR San Antonio and “1300 The Zone” KVET Austin, moves to co-owned news/talk WOAI (1200) as part of “San Antonio’s First News.” It’s a return to the station for Duel, who began his career there in 1997. He also hosts “Spurs NetCenter” on WOAI after San Antonio Spurs games.

“Beginning next week, I will join San Antonio’s First News on 1200 WOAI,” Duel posted to Twitter. “My mornings at Ticket 760 and AM 1300 ‘The Zone’ with co-host Shannon ‘Salty’ Sweeney have been absolutely wonderful. She is a major breakthrough talent who will continue to do big things on radio and beyond… Most importantly, thank you to our listeners, viewers, and sponsors. I'm not in San Antonio but I use to listen to San Antonio stations. It doesn't say it but I think he went to KTSA after he left WOAI before he went to KTKR.
