Chris "Mad Dog" Russo Banned From "Kiss Me, I'm Imus"?

As recently as Sunday, I saw a promo on Fox Business for Wednesday's "Imus in the Morning" broadcast, a live St. Patrick's Day event titled "Kiss Me, I'm Imus." The promo I saw on Sunday promised: "Glenn Beck, David Paterson and Chris "Mad Dog" Russo" will be wearing the green..." And there were photos/video clips of Beck, "Mad Dog" and the Governor.

Monday morning, in the few minutes I was able to hear Imus, he himself confirmed Russo would be part of the festivities.

Then on Monday evening, Fox Business ran another promo for "Kiss Me, I'm Imus" - with one exception. In lieu of the sentence transcribed above, it now said: "Glenn Beck and New York Governor David Paterson will be wearing the green."

What happened here? Was "Mad Dog" taken out?

I doubt it. Sirius probably wanted him for one of their gigs or put a stop to him becoming a "regular" on a terrestial radio show.

Listening to the replay on ksro.com and Mad Dog is coming on the show. :)

Imus announced this morning that Mad Dog would be there by phone due to the fact that he was still without power at home. I don't know if he made itor not.
